29 unique Maps will be played as a free for all melee to 15 kills. Players will choose their screen positions by random selection in the order they arrived. Up to 4 Slayers to a TV, empty slots will still be active but the Herald shall quit out at the beginning of each game so all screens are equal size. TV and screen positions will be rotated during every intermission. The final screen position rotation and host box will be reassigned based on current coin placement at that time, first place will have first choice, then second place, and so on.
After all 29 maps have been played, the Showdown Elimination begins for the final 3 maps. The map which had the highest total combined kills, will be the map chosen for the first round. 3 games total, eliminating the bottom 4 positions based on current Ball placement ( Silvers>Coppers>Ribbons>Ranking Points ) after each round, host goes to the Slayer who is first in Ball placement. The winner of each map will pick the next map to be played in elimination even if they are eliminated from playing in it.
All slayers will receive a certificate of placement and rank for their performance at the Slayer's Ball as well as Ribbons earned.
Any collusion is strictly prohibited and disqualification may be enforced retroactively once all video evidence has been reviewed.
No spectators or guests allowed, not enough room and we can't have any distractions.

After the King Slayer has taken the crown, teams will be formed based on current rank for a CTF round consisting of a best of 3 games, one flag capture to win, first two games on Blood Gulch each team hosts as red one game, tie breaker will be picked at random from the CTF map pool, Kingslayer picks his teams color for tie breaker and gets host. 1 copper coin to each slayer on the overall winning team. CTF will be followed by the 2v2 Team Rotation Rounds.

After the CTF round, the 2v2 Team Rotation Round will begin. Every round slayers shall rotate and be paired with a different slayer. Rounds will continue till each slayer has paired with each other at least once. For each round a match will consists of 2 games. The map pool shall consist of all the maps played during the crucible but the Herald reserves the right to remove maps that are unsuitable (Blood Gulch, Sidewinder, Boarding Action, Etc...). First game Red team will host and select map, and second game Blue team will host and select map. Copper Coins will only be claimed by those teams who beat the Sovereign's Spread for both games per match in a single round. Sovereign's Team Choice Award will be awarded based on total coins claimed during the 2v2 Team Rotation Rounds. Tie breaks will be settled by Team Rating.

Opening Ceremonies
We will start with Lighting and Passing of the torch, inspirational speech, and eye to eye stare downs to mark our transition into combat evolved. Each Slayer will proceed, in their assigned order, to ring the large bell outside the house at which point they will be introduced to the Ball as they make their way to their assigned seat and screen position.

SHOWDOWN ELIMINATION (New screen selection after each round is allowed based on placement, 1st place hosts)
Round 1 - All 12 players - 1 Silver Coin (Map with highest total combined kills)
Round 2 - Top 8 placed Slayers - 2 Silver Coins (Showdown Round 1 winner's map choice)
Round 3 - Top 4 placed Slayers ( The Final Four ) - 4 Silver Coins ( Showdown Round 2 winner's map choice)
TEAM TIME
Capture the Flag Round - Best of 3 games, CTF Pro no radar to 1 flag capture. Teams will be decided based on Rank in the Crucible of Claims, Host will go to the King Slayer's team. If necessary, when an odd amount of Slayers are present, the Sovereign's Herald may participate to create even teams and allow all Slayers to participate.
2v2 Team Rotation Round - All slayers will be paired up at least once for 1 match with each other as teammates, each match will consist of 2 maps both teams will pick a map and host that map, red team first. Copper coins will be awarded only if a team beats the Sovereign's spread for each game in the match up. Sovereign's Team Choice to the most coins claimed during the round, any ties will be settled by Team Rating.
Any other ties or disputes will be settled by total number of Silvers, Coppers, and then ribbons earned.
In accordance with the rules of Sovereignty, as set forth by the benefactor, all game play and official ceremonies will be fully recorded and documented to legitimize all honorable claims and for the sake of posterity. No video will be released to the general public without consent. All recordings may be used in future promotional content for Slayer's Ball.
If less then 8 slayers are in attendance then no titles or claims can be ascertained, however Stewardship over the throne will be bestowed to the most worthy slayer who is in attendance at the designated time. Only the Slayers that have fully registered, including their color choice, and have made their benefaction are eligible for Stewardship. The Steward of Slayers Ball shall hold obligatory duties but no actual title, only the position of Steward. In order to bestow the most worthy slayer with stewardship, a Minie Ball will be held with those who are in attedance. Each slayer present will choose 2 maps to play from Slayers Ball map pool FFA to 25 kills. Coins will be awarded in accordance with Slayers Ball policies and standards. No records will be keep of a Minie Ball except a summary presented in the Sovereign's Ballad format. The eligible Slayer with the most Silvers then Coppers will be bestowed with the duty of Stewardship to hold in good faith till the following time of reckoning and reclaimation has returned.
